I just signed up with Blogvertise so that I have an opportunity to make money advertising for some great companies. I'm excited to await approval so that I can start using this service.
I live in Central New York and the area has so many great craft shows. This coming weekend is the show at HCCC in Herkimer. This show draws a huge crowd and has some very unique hand made items. It is one of the few shows that are very particular about allowing buy and sell items in the show. Buy and sell items anger me so much because the prices that people can afford to sell those items make it very difficult to sell hand made items. In other words, vendors can purchase pre-made items, tear them from the plastic they arrived in and place them out with other "crafts". They sell them for next to nothing. This makes competing for sales very difficult. It is one the main reasons that I didn't sign up for shows this year. I can not and will not compete with someone who can't take the time to make their own crafts and then have the nerve to show up to a craft show stating that all their items are hand made. I have seen it too many times, it is very discouraging.
